Launched in 2014, Kili-Fair International Tourism & Industry Expo was created to promote Tanzania and neighboring countries as prime tourist destinations. For the 2025 edition, Planet Lodges joined the energy and excitement on the ground not with a booth, but with a bold mobile presence that aligned with our values of direct, human connection. We were there to network, build relationships, and most importantly, introduce our newest gem: Jackal’s Lair Camp in Serengeti.
Walking the Talk: Our Presence at Kili-Fair
As one of East Africa’s premier travel expos, Kili-Fair 2025 was a buzzing hub of safari operators, hoteliers, DMCs, and travel experts. While many companies focused on their stalls, we took a different route literally.
Our team walked the fairgrounds, talking with tour companies, guides, agents, and media, building personal connections the way we believe real hospitality starts: through face-to-face interaction.
We weren’t selling, we were storytelling.

One of the highlights of our day was introducing Jackal’s Lair Camp, our brand-new safari camp tucked deep in the Serengeti ecosystem. Designed for immersive wildlife experiences and comfortable stays under the stars, Jackal’s Lair sparked genuine curiosity and excitement.
Visitors scanned our QR code to learn more, with many praising its balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. As a semi-permanent tented camp in the heart of Tanzania’s most iconic national park, it’s set to be a game-changer for safari-goers seeking something soulful, raw, and beautiful.
Whether guests are chasing the Great Migration or seeking a peaceful sunrise with lions in the distance, Jackal’s Lair is where adventure and serenity meet.
